where's the Apology?
where's the 40 acres and a mule?
how you gonna ignore folks

to have a sign civil rights paper
only 60 years old?
how you gonna celebrate
and shop in places where the
powers that be don't care about you
amazing how Jim Crow
and all things were allowed
and the denial
which ain't taught in schools
or the history Books
a token Holiday
which means you still
have to work
